Iron Man Race Team

Mark Scheel will lead the Digital Construction race team in the Providence IronMan 70.3 event on July 8, 2012. New custom designed bike jerseys and warm up shirts show-casing our Colorado-proud summer 2012 logo design will be worn. These jerseys were designed and made in the USA. They were purchased by Digital Construction to benefit the Aspen Triathlon Club, a wonderful organization we are proud to be affilliated with. The Aspen Brewing Company and The Ute Mountaineer--two awesome Aspen businesses--are also featured in the jerseys.

"Completing an IronMan event, in this case a half Ironman with a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike ride and 13.1 mile run takes dedication and passion. It's a demonstration of our commitment that can be seen by our clients every day." said Mark Scheel, president of Digital Construction.

Update - July 15, 2012 In a remarkable finish, our two racers finished just 2 seconds apart in over all time, despite being in seperate waves. That might not sound interesting until you realize the race took over 6 hours to complete. Here are some pictures from race day:
